Here are some questions that may help you understand our services better.
1. How does all this work? You visit QuinnWestinghouse.com (you don’t even have to sign up for an account), fill out the online forms for you and your seller (literally takes seconds), and start the process! The buyer sends QW payment which is held until your package arrives from the seller in our secure warehouse. Once we have both the payment and the package, we send them to the end customer. You get your item, the seller gets their payment, and all you pay for this security is our super low fee!
2. How do I pay for your service? You may use any variety of payment method you choose. Being that our services are used mostly for auction sites, we will accept most major credit cards, PayPal, and e-check.
3. What are your hours of operation? Our hours are 8am to 6pm M-F and 8am to 2pm on Sat. And Sun.
4. Why would I use you, I’ve been doing alright on the net so far? We are glad to hear that you have been untouched by the predators out there, but that’s the point, there are predators out there. We will not force our services upon anyone. If you feel safe making transactions, please continue. We are simply here to provide a higher level of security to make your e-life easier and eliminate fraud.
5. If my package doesn’t come to you, what happens? If your item(s) do not arrive in a timely manner, we will return your money via the same manner in which we received it less our fee for service.
6. What are your fees? Rates vary. See our price schedule on the “Exchange Now” page.
7. How do I know that you won’t take what I ordered? In reality, there is no way to tell if anyone that you order from online is going to be honest, but I can tell you this: We can’t pick up a warehouse and move it with all our inventory in it! We will do everything possible to do right by our customers, which is why we are going to make certain that we are registered with the BBB in case there are any complaints, and we will deal with them as they arise.
8. Do you deal with smaller items to? Sure. We would love to facilitate all the transactions online, but sometimes, it’s more cost effective not to use us. See our schedule of fees (on our “Exchange Now” page) to see if we are right for your item.
9. Are your fees going to shoot up like on eBay? With present ownership, no. However, if we are acquired by another larger company, we will not have control over the fee structure. We intend to stay private to keep your costs down. Publicly traded companies have to invent new ways to extract money from their customers. Fortunately, we do not.
10. Where are you located? We are in the great state of Illinois (super area). Where better to serve the nation than from the middle of the country, the Midwest! Our new facility will be located in Indiana, so look for a new address soon!
11. How do you determine the shipping charge? We will use the same method that the seller used to send the package to us. The cost will be approximately (most times exactly) the same as the shipping charge on the auction site that you bought your item.
12. Are you integrated with eBay or any other web site? No. We are totally independent.
13. Does this interfere with my eBay, uBid, etc. account? No. You do everything as you normally would, except when it comes time to pay, you send payment to us and give our warehouse address to your seller instead of your own address. That’s more security for you and less people knowing your personal information.
14. If I am a seller and I send my package, what if the buyer doesn’t send payment to you? First, QW recommends that you not send payment until we send you a confirmation email saying we have received payment. If we haven’t received payment for your item before you shipped it to us, then there is no charge except shipping which will be paid by the seller. We will hold the package for 7 days free of charge, after that we will charge $10 per day for the package until shipping is paid to return the item to the seller. Benefit: no charge back hassles!
15. Do you give refunds? Well, we do return the buyer’s money for the item but we do not refund our fees. Our service is to make sure that you get what you paid for, if you don’t, we return the purchase price and our fee is earned.
16. How long does this take? In general, this may add 1-2 business days to your shipping time. However, the time may not be affected at all.
17. Do you insure packages? It depends. If the package was insured when shipped to us, yes. If there is no insurance when we receive the package, no.
Where was this years ago?! This is such a no-brainer, I can’t believe that we went
without this. No account needed, and they said the fees would not change (I’ll believe
that when I see it). It worked and it was reasonable.

I’m a business man and I know numbers. So when I saw this it just made perfect since
