Why We Started The Site
I am an internet surfer to my heart. I keep up as much as I can with what goes on with the web. Upon visiting YouTube and looking around on MySpace, there seemed to be too many people who were getting the short end on internet shopping, or being frauded. And I don’t like it at all! I shop on eBay, have an account on MySpace, and watch YouTube for shows that I’ve missed. So I figured, if I can try to remedy this problem and help people that do the same things that I do online, at least I did my best. Thus, our site Quinn Westinghouse. Before setting up this site, I had to ask my self: When do ordinary people get a break? Ebay fees shoot through the roof (there’s even a site called eBaysucks.com), processors freezing accounts of those trying to make honest money, our elders not being able to retire because of corporate raiding, and those hard-working people who have their retirements slashed or taken away all together. Now that really pisses me off! Even happened to my mother, which is another reason I’ve started this site. I can’t tell you the kind of joy I’ll feel giving my mother a great life after retirement. My dad worked 25 years for an institution, and you know what they did: Sent him a dam book and said pick out a gift from this book. Nothing in the book was worth over $25 dollars! Wow. Is this what we have to look forward to? Not if I can help it.
I worked for a corrupt school district as a substitute teacher for a year, and it’s amazing how greedy people can be, even when it comes to children. How can the school board be rich (and it is) and yet the school itself have nothing. No proper heating, no updated books, no showers, basically, no nothing! So it’s not just the adults being exploited, it’s the kids also. Salaries are going up every year but 66% of the students at the high school have D or F averages. It’s just not right.
Since I try to take care of communities that I am apart of, Quinn Westinghouse is my attempt to try to change the world and give some power back to the people of the world. Thank you and read below for a further information on our company.
